The other day I plugged my laptop to my stereo speakers and blasted through a bunch of these TED lectures. If you’re a tad curious about the world, TED is a hard-to-exhaust goody bag.
This lecture by Sir Ken Robinson is particularly inspiring for anyone who believes in the values of human capacity beyond mere logic and rationality. Robinson speaks about the education system, and how we currently educate our children “out of their creative capacity”. In his opinion it is through fear we loose the capacity to make mistakes, and “if you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with something original” Robinson claims.

I second that! Sir Ken’s (how weird is that?) assertion, that is, firm believer in nothing ventured nothing gained that I be.
Consequently I’ve learned my lessons, too, but it goes with the territory.
Good to see you “up and about” again.

Cheers Mr. Petterson – nice to hear from you too. Thanks for stopping by checking out Sir Ken
Time to carry on with the stumbling game then, eh?
